There may have been a possible Easter egg in this episode. In the very beginning when you see the missile heading towards the building, there’s a logo on the missle that looks like the Gonzo mark. I thought the ending was pretty decent. It didn’t blow my expectations out of the water or anything. I was happy to see things worked out for the main characters for the most part. Saiga may be permanetly blind now but he still seems to be doing well. The best part of the episode in my opinion is the final scene with Kagura coming back to Saiga. It may not be anywhere near original but it was a nice way to conclude this series.

I’ll be blunt, this isn’t a series for everyone. Some may love it, some may hate it. Personally, I felt it was worth the time I put into watching this series. It’s no where near the best series of the year for me, but it was still entertaining overall. The characters were probably of average quality. None of them were really all that memorable in my opinion. One of the problems I had with this series was the story felt like it moved way too slowly. Sometimes you may watch it and feel like it’s going no where. Besides the pacing, the premise of the story itself was fairly unique. Blend together politics, corruption, action and a twist of revenge and you get “Speed Grapher”.
