I was expecting something better for a Christmas episode. They had so much to work with, but they didn’t take advantage of the opportunity. Relative to the other episodes, however, it’s definately not the worst one. I still thought this episode had its moments. One particular instance that comes to mind is when Maika, Yuri, and Masuzu were fantasizing about spending Christmas with Haruo. Out of the three I probably enjoyed Masuzu’s fantasy the most. We get a look inside her “home”, which was sad and funny at the same time. The relationship between Ayumi and Haruo really wasn’t going anywhere until this episode. All in all, this episode was still worth watching because of the plot development towards the end.
