Lemon Angel Project 13 (Final)

The basic plot of this episode went just the way as one would expect. There weren’t any surprise twists, which is probably the way it should be for this series. Something I found kind of strange was no one in the audience questioned the authenticty of the first Lemon Angel performance. You would think someone would point out the girls were flying and ended up converging into the screen. It was a simple, yet happy ending. Personally I’m pretty satisfied with how things turned out. I thought what they did with the ending credits was pretty interesting. We get to see a video clip of the seiyuu’s during recording and whatnot. Will there be a second season to this series? There probably won’t be considering there really is no need or reason for a second season.

I liked the character designs for the series. It was unfortunate they were not able to keep the art consistent throughout the series. On the whole it wasn’t too bad, but there were times when the art was bad enough to take your attention away from the story at hand. As far as seiyuu singing goes, I thought the singing wasn’t vastly superior to your average “character songs” done by seiyuu’s. It’s a little disappointing in that regard since this series focuses so heavily on singing. If you want to watch a series that invovles singing I think you are better off watching “Full Moon wo Sagashite”. I don’t feel that this is a series to avoid at all cost though. I still thought this series was entertaining enough to keep my attention throughout. If you are going to watch this series, do yourself a favor and don’t go into it with high expectations. You will enjoy it more that way.
