Wow, this episode was really exciting in my opinion. We get to see Mithril cross paths with Gate in this episode. The way they carried out the mission was really cool. Especially how it was all strategically planned out. I thought how things started to turn for the worst was nicely done. I couldn’t help but wonder, “Oh shit, what’re they going to do now?” With Mao, Weber, and Sousuke all in trouble, I can’t wait to see the next episode.

I think they’re doing a really good job with the series so far. We get to see Yu Fan and Yu Lan for the first time. They seem to have some sort of connection with Leonard Testarossa. The gore level appears to be higher as well. The biggest improvement is probably the inclusion of nudity in the series. Besides the main story line which is slowly unravelling, the “high school life” side was great as well. I feel sorry for their teacher, losing all her data three times. (;´д⊂)

This was a good start for the new series. It gave us a good taste of what’s to come in future TSR episodes. I started watching the episode without any expectation for any humour. They were able to include a bit of it into the episode, even though it wasn’t all that much. For instance, I enjoyed the fact Sousuke said he can’t die here cause he has to hand in homework. It was classic Sousuke humour. It’s nice to see all the good characters like Teletha and Mao again. Their lack of appearance in Fumoffu was my biggest gripe with that series. If you are a fan of the original FMP series, then there’s no reason not to check TSR out.
