It looks like I was totally wrong. Rose is now officially dead. I admit I wasn’t expecting her to die so soon after finding out she was Roy’s daughter. We will probably see her again though. There were multiple hints in the episode that we haven’t seen the last of Rose. Since I was wrong about Rose not dying last week I don’t have complete confidence in my new theory. I hope Rose will be a part of the story again though, it would feel kind of odd to have her completely written out of the series so soon. Even though this was probably the darkest episode thus far, I really enjoyed it. It gives the series much more depth which is always a good thing. It’ll be interesting to see how what happens from this point on.

The beginning of this episode was hysterical in my opinon. Seeing Rose, Roy, and Solty all confide in Miranda and Kasha was pure gold. Roy seems like a different person now since he found out Rose is quite likely his daughter. After spending some time thinking things over, Rose decides to accept Roy as her biological father. Just as she finishes telling Roy, she gets critcally wounded. It may look like she’s dead, but it seems highly unlikely they would kill her off one episode after finding out the truth. Quite frankly it would be utterly stupid to have her die when we’re just around the half-way point. With that being said, I’m interested in seeing how Roy will deal with this situation.

There was more in this episode than I had anticipated. To be honest, I didn’t think Roy would find his daughter so early in the series. We got a hint that Rose may be his daughter from the previous episode because of the song she taught Solty. At the time I just assumed Rose had previously met Roy’s daughter at some point. I didn’t make the possible connection that Rose may have been Roy’s daughter cause their hair colour’s completely different. In this episode we get proof that Rose is indeed Roy’s daughter. We also get an explanation as to why her hair colour is now different. Now it’s going to be interesting to see how Roy and Rose’s relationship will develop. I’m really looking forward to the next episode to see if Rose will begin to accept he truth.

We meet a troublesome villan named Ho Chu in this episode. Apparently he as a grudge against Roy and ends up involving everyone around him. The R.U.C is involved in this case as well so I’m guessing Roy will end up getting help from them in next week’s episode. Something to note is the song Rose sang in last week’s episode. It turns out to be a song Roy’s wife used to sing. After they resolve the issue with Ho Chu, Roy may be able to find a new lead to his missing daughter.

There really wasn’t much of a “plot development” in this episode. The only real development were the strange markings on Rose while she was being carried out by Solty. So based on that it looks like there’s more to Rose than I thought. The puppet-show presentation on RESEMBLE by Kasha and Solty was pretty funny in my opinion. It was a bit unusual compared to their usual prologue style, but it flowed well.

In this episode we get to see how most of the characters spent their day off. We learn that Roy’s wife, Sara, died of an illness. Other than that the rest of the episode was fun to watch. It was pretty funny to see how the different characters met up with one another in this episode. Considering how both Roy and Miranda looked 12 years ago, time did not treat Roy very well. On the other hand, you can’t really tell Miranda has aged at all besides the change in hair length. We get to know the R.U.C members a bit better. It looks like the elite R.U.C member will play a bigger role later on, but whether or not he really is a “good guy” is still questionable.

In the very beginning we get a narration by Rose. Then the eldest Anderson brother says they’re known as the “Nakayoshi Anderson Brothers”. Coming from him and his cool attitude it turned out quite funny. Rose is still trying to recruit Solty. This episode is primarly about Rose. We get a brief glimpse of her past and get an idea of why she became a “thief”. In my opinion the overall story is moving pretty slowly. For the time being I don’t really mind it because I’m enjoying what they have been offering. Although it would be nice to get more plot development in the next couple of episodes.

Talk about a streak of bad luck for Roy. Considering his previous outbursts of rage he took the situation with Rose quite well. Although this was a continuation from last week with Rose in Roy’s apartment, it was just a filler episode. With that said, I still found myself enjoying this episode. Solty’s child-like responses are expected, yet they’re pretty funny too. One particular part comes to mind when Solty tells Rose she won’t help her, “do what thieves do” because “Roy will get me”.

One of the things that I like about this series is how they give a piece of new information at the very beginning of every episode. It probably saves the writers some time from having to incorporate the information right into the plot. It benefits the viewers by getting straight to the point. A first it seemed like Roy got a lead to the location of his missing daughter. Unfortunately it turns out it was someone else who inherited the same surname. Overall it was another worthwhile episode. There seems to be more hidden abilties within Solty we don’t know about. We get a taste of one of them in this episode.

It’s safe to say over 95% of this episode was pure filler. Even though it’s a filler episode it was still a good episode. I liked the amount of humour they put into it. I definately wouldn’t mind seeing more episodes like this. It was pretty funny to see them all scrambling to get their hands on the emerald. At the end of the episode we see someone who appears to be either at the top of R.U.C or at least highly ranked. From what they show us it looks like he has his eye on Solty. Let’s hope they can keep up the quality work.
