Sousei no Aquarion 15

This episode is primary about Pierre. Although we don’t really learn much more about him. It was pretty funny to see Pierre looking around the room at all the different girls. The action in this episode was nothing special. It looked silly to dribble the enemy all the way into space. The final scene of this episode made it worth my time. The final scene where Jun shows a sign of “mental illness” like Pierre did earlier was a clever addition.

Gunlex: This episode was better than I had expected it to be. Probably one of the most enjoyable Aquarion episodes so far. We get to see what appears to be a temporary form of Aquarion, Forma Aquarion. The part right before we get to see it, they used a piano and violin version of “Sousei no Aquarion”. It was a nice rendition of the opening song. I thought the fight sequence with Forma Aquarion was really well done. The charging in with the quick bow draw was probably the highlight of that scene. My only complaint with this episode was the ending. Although I guess it fits Apollo’s nature, I thought just running away like that looked silly.

Gunlex: I didn’t think there was going to be much going on in this episode with the slow start at the beginning. We do learn a bit more about Apollo and Silvia’s past lives. The story’s starting to make some more sense now. Amazingly, Silvia was not super annoying in this episode. There were actually some scenes where she didn’t look ugly. I kind of doubt they will keep that up, but it was nice while it lasted.

Gunlex: This week’s focus is on Reika. The events of this episode doesn’t move the story along. There isn’t a whole lot to say about this episode. I didn’t find it to be that entertaining either.

Gunlex: There wasn’t much in terms of development in this episode. We do get to see a new enemy today. In a previous episode they showed quite a few of them in some sort of gathering. I have a feeling the series will feel pretty dragged out when they could probably tell the whole story in 13.

Gunlex: This was a tripped out episode. We get to see the kind of dreams they have. On one level I guess that’s somewhat interesting. In terms of the episode’s enjoyment, it was an okay episode. It wasn’t the best or the worst. I just hope Silvia will get over her brother complex soon.

Gunlex: Tsugumi should totally ditch her glasses. Without them on, she easily looks better than the other 2 lead females. Although I guess that isn’t saying much considering the other 2 females are Reika and Silvia. Apollo was unusually cooperative this episode, felt like he was a completely different person. Jun’s nose bleed from experiencing his “first time” was silly, but I think it suits his character. No plot advancement in this episode, but no whining Silvia and Tsugumi development offsets it.

Gunlex: I can’t say I enjoyed this episode all that much. If it wasn’t for the mecha, I probably would have stopped watching.

Gunlex: Even though I like watching mecha series, I felt the extreme arm stretching was quite lame. We finally get to see Aquarion Luna in action, however, even if it was only for a brief moment.
