This is going to be a busy week with all the new series coming out. I was expecting this to be a cliché harem series. In many ways it appears it is, but there were other things about it which I wasn’t anticipating for this series. I thought this series would be much more drama-filled with little to no humour. Of course, this is only the first episode so things could change dramatically at some point. The main characters appear to fit your stereotypical roles in a harem series. It will all depend on the writers being able to develop these characters to differentiate them from the sleep-inducing one dimensional characters. Not having played any of the games (from the PC Engine to the PC) I have no clue if the story is based on any previous work or not. I like the character designs for this series, which was what caught my attention to begin with. From what I can see, it won’t be my favourite series of this new season, but it has potential to be good entertainment.
