Gunlex: As it turns out this world does not have Sakura’s feather. Even though there was no feather, the episode wasn’t a complete waste. We learn a bit about Syaoran’s past. Besides searching for Sakura’s feathers it looks as if we may end up trying to figure out Syaoran’s past as well.

Gunlex: It’s off to a new world next week. I didn’t find the first few minutes to be all that fun to watch. As the episode went on it gradually got better. I particularly liked the scene where we see the specific memory Sakura retrieved. Syaoran is really gone from her memories. I thought watching that scene was really sad. Just goes to show how much Syaoran cares for Sakura. I’ve been wondering who the Mitteshu guys were. As it turns out they’re from Clamp School. The character animation seemed pretty nice in this episode. Overall I think this is one of the better episodes of the series so far.

Gunlex: The action in this episode was short-lived. I was expecting more of it considering this is pretty much the climax. Sakura still feels way too passive. It looks like she’s half asleep most of the time. Hopefully that will change once she gets this next feather back.

Gunlex: Things are getting interesting now. The last 2 episodes have been kind of slow. Apparently Fai is really powerful, but since he won’t use magic we may not know just how strong he is till later on. Not much else to comment on it, it’s a nice build-up to a hopefully action-packed episode for next week.

Gunlex: It looks like they’ll be spending at least 4-5 episodes per “world” they go to. We see this world’s version of Sorata and Arashi. I guess I have to give up hope in seeing some other characters like Karen. At least there were some nice shots of Sakura in the episode. It’s too bad she still seems kind of ditzy.

Gunlex: So far this series has been more laid back than I had expected it to be. I still find it fun to watch nonetheless. We got to see a little bit more of Sakura than the recent episodes. Once they get more feathers back I hope they’ll give her more lines.

Gunlex: This episode wraps up their stay in the “present day” world. With two feathers back in Sakura, I hope we’ll get to see more of her in the episodes to come. I would have liked to see more of Sorata and Arashi, but maybe in a future episode.
